Prof. Acquisiti is a leading researcher of behavioral economics in the privacy domain.- Conducted quantitative research on the behavioral implications of digital privacy. - Managed software design projects, overseeing 5 MS-level technical research assistants at a time. - Collaborated extensively with faculty, post-docs, and graduate students on grant-driven projects.At CMU I published multiple papers about disclosure in online environment, I did some very cool work on facial recognition technology, and published two major papers (Cal Law Rev, Wash Law Rev) about privacy and obscurity.

Ibiblio (formerly MetaLab/SunSITE) is a large-scale, distributed digital archive. Working with collaborators across the globe, we distributed free software, content, and archival materials. Ibiblio was an important hub for the open source movement, serving as the primary repository for multiple important software projects. At Ibiblio, my job involved: - Resposibility for development, management, and reliability of all software and systems.- Collaborate extensively with a global network of developers and content creators.- Management of a staff of 2 FTE's and 8 MS-level technical research assistants.- Conceiving and developing novel systems with grant support.At Ibiblio, I developed an open-source blogging framework (Lyceum) with attained grant support to fund a team of developers. Lyceum was a successful multi-user, multi-home blogging platform for educational and cultural organizations.
