Jeff has experience in all phases of Real Estate Development. Since 1999, he has been a key player in building thousands of residences throughout the Tri-County South Florida markets. His homebuilding career began in a startup division of Town & Country Homes SE FL. Being part of startup, he had the opportunity to engage with all facets of development and ultimately was integral to the Divisions incredible growth, leading to its purchase by Fortune 500 Home Builder K. Hovnanian Homes. Spearheading the Purchasing team, his business unit continued top producer status and his department repeatedly ranked top 3 in the Nation in gross margins and variance percentages, all while citing historically low overhead/associates per closing and per community, consistently boasting one of the most successful business units under the national K. Hovnanian umbrella. In 2014, he joined JKM Developers as their Vice President, and in 2016, was invited to become Partner. In 2023, he took on the role of Partner/Chief Operating Officer. His position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including identifying potential land acquisitions, generating investment partners, estimating attainable costs, project management, process improvement, negotiating/contracting, systems building, company policy and procedure, and public relations. JKM/Lotis is a boutique firm with institutional investors i.e. formerly the SE FL Operating Partner for BlackRock, with thousands of units including multifamily rentals, ALFs, single family homes, commercial and mixed use in its portfolio.
