CurrentAligns, evaluates, and manages external communications for IEEE, for the world’s largest technical professional organization with over 400,000 members, seeking opportunities to increase awareness of enterprise-wide initiatives and programs through digital and traditional media. Works with senior leadership on developing and supporting an external communications strategy that focuses on consistent messaging and the overall positioning of IEEE.Staff lead for the IEEE Public Visibility initiative, a global communications program geared toward driving awareness and increasing understanding and appreciation of how technology benefits humanity, as well as promoting the IEEE technical professionals who carry out this work. Works hand-in-hand with external PR vendor on strategy and execution of global traditional and social media campaigns; $2.5 million annual budget
