About Fuad Muzaffarli

I’m a construction and finance enthusiast with multiple years of professional experience in both fields. During my studies at the University of Guelph, I did a couple of internships in financial institutions dealing with microfinance and leasing and launched a food delivery start-up with friends.Nevertheless, I had a growing desire to understand the construction sector, its secrets, and know-how. I was especially interested in the financing of construction projects. Therefore, I have spent a year at North West Construction in two positions simultaneously: Junior Quantity Surveyor and Tender Specialist. I did endless overtimes, prepared and reviewed tender documents, contracts, and budgets, conducted quantity take-offs, visited construction sites, and managed databases. As soon as I acquired a solid understanding of the construction business, I switched to the financial side of my passion and joined Muganbank’s Department of Documentary Operations and Financial Securities. Here, I have mastered trade finance instruments, especially bank guarantees. In particular, I excelled in utilizing trade finance instruments to the needs of the construction industry. Apart from being promoted as the executive director of Muganbank in October 2021, I am the General Manager of EFC PM Services. Here, we are building a team of responsible adults that would bring valuable socio-economic output for all concerned. We are willing to keep up this tide and furtherly expand our operations.My and my team’s ultimate mission is to identify gaps in construction financing and propose groundbreaking solutions that would alter our industry in unfathomable directions.
