Current• Developed and made significant contributions to various backend libraries and microservices within Mastercard's Checkout Services (MACS) payment platform. These components play a crucial role in facilitating secure and efficient payment processing.• A key aspect of my responsibilities was implementing new features that allowed MACS's clients to seamlessly integrate into the Click to Pay's (C2P) payment platform. I optimized downstream API calls to internal microservices such as the customer data service, credit card data service, and transaction service. By improving the efficiency of these API calls, I enhanced the overall performance and responsiveness of the system.• The MACS platform handled a significant volume of daily transaction requests, processing enrollments, deletions, and additions of user profile data, as well as account payment information. By ensuring the scalability and reliability of the system, I played a vital role in supporting over 1 million daily transaction requests.• Additionally, I contributed to enhancing the MACS platform codebase to support the migration to new key-IDs (kid) from expired keys. This update involved retrieving the kid value from the JWE Header passed by the CaaS calls made by all C2P and SCOF clients. By seamlessly integrating this new key management mechanism, I ensured the platform's adherence to security best practices and smooth operation for clients.Throughout these responsibilities, I applied my technical expertise in Java and Spring Boot to deliver robust and scalable solutions. I collaborated closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and product managers, to align with project requirements and ensure the successful delivery of enhancements and features. By proactively identifying areas for improvement, optimizing API calls, and implementing new functionalities, I contributed to the ongoing success and evolution of the MACS payment platform at Mastercard.
