* All previous Senior Device Technician responsibilities.* Assume primary accountability for multiple content operations roles (new: managed mobile web portal content editor, content provider support technician).* Communicate regularly and directly with client carriers and content providers to support their needs for our managed mobile web portals.* Coordinate local content operations contributors to ensure team objectives are being met across a wide range of roles.* Monitor and support internal web tools (PHP) running on a LAMP server. * Profile devices for browser and media capabilities.* On-board devices to product systems, configure for specific customer portal and storefront solutions.* Track status of open issues, communicating both internally and externally to resolve in a timely fashion.* Create device specification documents and send to content partners.* Provide support to content partners on device-related issues, including resolving questions regarding published specification documents.* Assist content team with diagnosing content issues.* Provide multiple teams with device-related reports, querying MS SQL Server databases to generate.* Use a web debugger to examine incoming and outgoing headers during storefront transactions.* Emulate a variety of mobile devices on a desktop web browser, changing between them to observe changes in product behavior more efficiently than using an actual mobile device, differentiating between device hardware issues and platform configuration issues.* Examine purchased and downloaded content binaries at a hexadecimal level for minute problems that could cause inconsistencies in content behavior on specific mobile devices.

* Examine and test content submitted to mobile storefront for appropriateness and adherence to standards.* Keep up-to-date with mobile content standards - OMA DRM, audio/graphic/video encoding.* Utilize database software such as MS Access in order to track qualification progress and generate reports.* Report qualification results to content providers; be ready to respond to and support the report when content providers return with questions. Help them overcome their issues.* Troubleshoot device hardware issues as necessary in order to resolve issues that may block testing, and differentiate content issues from device issues.
