As a Technology Account Consultant for Staples Enterprise accounts, my main responsibility includes working directly with Business Development Directors to maintain relationships with our customers as well as pursue opportunities to grow the business in terms of technology and print hardware sales. I manage somewhere near 100 companies which include Google, Intuit, Edwards Lifesciences, and Intel, all located in the West Coast but extending out to the Latin Americas and Europe as well. I also work directly with decision makers of these business to help develop new technology solutions to advance their businesses. My tasks and responsibilities include: 1. Working with distributors and manufacturers to locate inventory, work on special and bid pricing, as well as sourcing and delivering the products in a timely and efficient manner. 2. Educating customer on all of the different technology products and their uses and then creating and updating quotes for customers and their technology needs as well as receiving the purchase order to place the orders. 3. Working with internal teams including IT, Finance and Project Management to create and facilitate hosted catalogs for a streamlined ordering process for our larger accounts. This includes setting up a remote order system, automatic invoicing as well as order tracking and order management. 4. Reporting of various tasks including shipping and delivery reports, back order reports, and sales history reporting and analyzing. By using these reports, I am able to help our team as well as the customers identify issues and find solutions, as well as find new opportunities for increased business and needs. 5. Work hand in hand with our internal finance and accounting team to ensure that all accounts receivables are up to date. This including troubleshooting invoicing errors as well as contacting and creating relationships with customers in order to streamline this process to avoid all future issues.

I worked a full time position as a call facilitator and administrator working to create and maintain file systems, deal with telephone and email inquiries and solve problems. I had to apply my communication and collaboration skills to help out interviewers do their jobs as effectively and efficiently as they could. Our interviewers conducted biomedical screenings for individuals applying for life insurance so ensuring that the process ran as smoothly and accurately as possible was extremely important. This step in the process would many times determine whether or not the individuals would get the life insurance policy they applied for. If there was ever an issue, either I had to solve it, or I had to make sure I transferred the problem to someone who could solve it in the best manner possible.
