My 5.5 years of experience as a chemical engineer has improved my knowledge in the manufacturing industry, specializing in syngas and methanol production. In my current role as a Production Executive, I oversee daily methanol production operations to deliver cost effective processes that can produce high quality methanol that meet customers’ expectations. My role encompasses diverse responsibilities, ranging from providing expert troubleshooting support to monitoring process performance and coordinating plant shutdown, start-up, and turnaround activities. As a passionate advocate for continuous improvement, I thrive on identifying root causes and challenging the status quo to address both short-term challenges and long-term goals. Holding a certification as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Practitioner, I have successfully delivered and coached numerous optimization projects, resulting in significant achievements such as fuel gas cost reduction, operators' man-hours saving, process cycle efficiency improvement, and reduced plant downtime. I am currently on the path to achieving my Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification.Beyond my professional pursuits, I strongly believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Outside of the office, you can often find me at the gym, indulging in my love for coffee, or embarking on thrilling backpacking adventures. Traveling has been an enriching experience, allowing me to embrace diverse cultures and anticipate challenges by stepping out of my comfort zone. So far, I have explored 35 countries, and my travel bucket list continues to grow.
