Responsible for managing total patient care for the critically ill to medical/ surgical populations for multiple HCA System facilities.

Staff Nurse- Complete assessment of all assigned patients. Actively involved in each individualized plan of care, prioritizing nursing interventions, and implementation as indicated. Ensuring doctor’s orders are carried out effectively, assisting medical procedures, consultations, and stat orders. Implementing JCAHO safety standards, compliance, and infection control at all times. * Charge Nurse- Facilitator of daily functions for 8bed ICU. Nurse/ patient acuity based assignments. Chart audits. Nursing preceptor/ mentor. Medication administration/ reconciliation. Admissions. Discharge. Education. Computerized charting (Cerner, Meditech). ICU Competencies. Excellent health care customer service skills.
