Manutius stopped operations at the end of October 2015 because of changes at the parent company.• Identified and claim-charted approximately 40 highly valuable semiconductor patents from several thousand owned by Japanese electronics companies. • Technologies investigated: high-k/metal gate with dual work functions, Cu metallization with Co liner, laser ablation dicing, flip-chip bond pad, PMOS strain engineering using embedded SiGe channel, embedded fuse, SRAM gate layout, etc. Process technologies at 20 nm, 28 nm, 40 nm nodes etc.• Leveraged existing, commercially available reverse engineering reports to find infringement.
