Fund Express Pawnshops (also known as FE Group) consists of 6 privately and individuallyowned outlets namely Fund Express (Bukit Merah) Pawnshop Pte Ltd which was established inyear 1975, Fund Express (Balestier) Pawnshop Pte Ltd in 1979, Fund Express (Tekka) Pte Ltd in2000, Fund Express (Tampines) Pawnshop Pte Ltd in 2003, Fund Express (Jurong East) Pte Ltdin 1997, and Fund Express (Jurong West) Pte Ltd in 1987. There are currently just over 30employees under this Group.FE Group provides pawnbroking services, which is a form of collateralised micro-financinginvolving products ranging from gold ornaments, diamonds and gems jewellery, and selectedbranded watches. Pawnbroking is a regulated and licensed activity under the Pawnbrokers Act.The Group is also engaged in the retailing of pre-owned jewellery and gold, which complementsits pawnbroking business. FE Group has traditionally been offering very attractive valuation byits in-house expert appraisers and providing friendly services and attractive interest rates to itscustomers that include locals and foreigners namely from South East Asia and Australia.
