In this role, I was responsible for providing expert guidance and leadership in process engineering, optimization, and automation. My duties involved leading a team of consultants, focusing on the development and implementation of innovative strategies in these areas, complemented by expertise in Business Process Management (BPM), change management, and lean methodologies. I also played a pivotal role in business development, including lead generation and Client Relationship Management (CRM). Additionally, I spearheaded a Health, Safety, and Environment (SHE) working group, aiming to elevate industry practices through consulting, training on high-risk activities, and the creation and implementation of comprehensive HSE systems.

Zimbabwe

This role was responsible for leading a diverse range of workshop services in sectors such as mining, manufacturing, industrial, food, and beverage. My key duties included overseeing Machining and Manufacturing processes, ensuring precision in prototyping and production. In Fabrication, I managed the creation and assembly of intricate structures and components, while also focusing on Installation and Maintenance, coordinating the setup and ongoing care of mechanical and electrical systems for optimal functionality. Integral to my role was the implementation of robust safety protocols, ensuring all operations adhered to the highest safety standards. I was also involved in project scoping and cost management, meticulously planning and budgeting to optimize resources and reduce expenses. Additionally, I oversaw project management and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) processes, guaranteeing efficiency and high-quality service delivery across all areas of operation.

This role was responsible for overseeing the safety, production, and cost efficiency of the Hydromet circuit. My daily tasks involved processing thickened flotation tailings, crucial for the efficient production of uranium and copper-rich solutions and generating sands for mine end backfill aggregate. The process circuit under my management included Leaching, Counter Current Decantation, and Clarification, ensuring optimal operation and output.

The key processes under my supervision included autogenous grinding, flotation, and concentrate leaching. Leading a team of over 40 personnel, my focus was on directing supervisors and crews towards efficient and responsible decision-making at all operational levels. Key achievements in this role encompassed upholding high safety and health standards, managing costs effectively, and optimizing production output.

My duties included overseeing performance, enhancing processes, ensuring accurate metallurgical accounting, and conducting test work. Additionally, I led various improvement projects, combining technical expertise with strategic project management to enhance efficiency and foster innovation in metallurgical operations.

My primary duties included translating conceptual designs into practical operational solutions, managing EPC contractors, and evaluating project finances.
