Helping to re-invent the modern library. I was responsible for porting Blacklight (an open source, solr based, library catalog - see http://projectblacklight.org/) to the Rails 3 platform, modifying the app to run smoothly in a JRuby context, and converting the plugin to a Rails Engine.
