I'm currently a doctoral candidate in the Methodology, Measurement, and Analysis program at the University of Central Florida. My doctoral program has provided me with an advanced experience in both quantitative and qualitative methods of data collection, management, and analysis using different software tools.I have a strong passion for education, and I am committed to teaching research methods and statistical analysis. In my teaching philosophy, I emphasize an inclusive learning environment, enthusiasm, active learning, and positive contributions to society.As a graduate teaching assistant, I facilitate Stat Chats for two graduate courses which are "Statistics for Educational Data" and "Quantitative Foundations of Educational Research". My detailed explanations of the statistical procedures and interpretations of the outputs generated from statistical software tools brought about positive feedback from students and faculty. As such, I was awarded the best graduate teaching assistant in my college for the 2022-2023 & 2023- 2024 academic years. I was selected to attend two different data training workshops in year 2023. The NAEP High School Transcript Study (HSTS) Data training funded by the American Institutes for Research (AIR) and The Modern Meta Analysis Research Institute (MMARI) training funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).In Summer 2024, I was privileged to attend the NSF Institute on Improving the Design of Evaluation Studies in STEM Education Research at Northwestern University.
