• Supporting the Head of Procurement in developing, maintaining, and communicating the Procurement Department’s service standards, methods, and strategies to achieve best value for money in the acquisition of goods, services and works.• Providing procurement advice, support, and guidance through tender process to clients at all levels and across the Group, ensuring internal customer satisfaction.• Procuring diverse range of exhibition design & build, IT services, equipment and software, professional services, marketing and communications, catering, cleaning and facilities and conservation.• Responsible for leading the tendering activity for the Vision 2025 Programme and Estate Improvements, the £55M transformation of the National Railway Museum York, Locomotion Shildon, One Collection programme, Masterplan Phase 2 and Estate Improvement projects is a high level of procurement activity. • Responsible for delivering a professional service for the procurement of range of goods, services and works across SMG's activities but primarily for the Masterplan & Estate teams• Managing large and complex procurements, including supplier relationship management, contract negotiation and contract management, and the ability to manage several procurement activities simultaneously, and demonstrate a commitment to sustainable procurement.• Led Masterplan & Estate procurement activities and actively engaging with teams and tendering projects via the In-Tend e-procurement system to digital marketplace (contract Finder & Find the Tender Service) and Dynamic Purchasing Systems• Ensure compliance with UK legislation, regulations and government guidance, Public Contract Regulations 2015, Cabinet Office Public Procurement Notes (PPNs) • E-procurement, E-tendering, digital marketplace system, and procurement frameworks agreement, excellent knowledge and experience of public contracts regulations.• Maintaining complete and accurate record of each procurement process
