The Faculty of Sciences’ Marketing and Student Recruitment Team volunteer student ambassador program. The program provides selected current Science students with the opportunity to: • Share our experience and advice with future students to promote and raise aspirations for studying Science at the University of Adelaide• Provide an opportunity for secondary school and other future students to have direct contact with successful role models• Provide future students, parents, and high school communities with an insight into university life, student services, support and study based on our own experiences; plus information on the range of Science programsResponsibilities: • Provide assistance to the Faculty of Sciences Marketing & Student Recruitment Team to promote the range of programs available• Presentations on my university experience and advice for future students• Provide information to future students at faculty/school specific information events, plus large scaleuniversity-wide events such as Open Day

At the medical clinic, I worked with 2 General practitioners and a specialist paediatrician. It was my task to open and close the clinic. My responsibilities included- Managed calender, arranged appointments - Confidentiality (maintained confidentiality both inside and outside of the work environment)- Cleaning before opening and closing -Answering incoming calls and make outgoing calls to pathology labs, patients and doctors-Handle money -Filing patient records-Planned tasks, set priorities and organised own work effectively and efficiently - Interacted with patients and ensured service satisfication I worked hard and handled my tasks efficiently. I was able to manage my time accordingly to ensure that the patients received a smooth experience and were able to see the doctors in a timely manner.
