• Share our experience and advice with future students to promote and raise aspirations for studying Science at the University of Adelaide

• Carrying out omics-based laboratory procedures, including DNA/RNA extractions, and amplifications on a range of clinical and environmental samples
• Library preparation for Next Generation Sequencing analysis including 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing and whole genome sequencing.
• Bioinformatic processing of 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing data (Qiime 2)
• Experience with the entry, validation and management of scientific data and records.

At the medical clinic, I worked with 2 General practitioners and a specialist paediatrician. It was my task to open and close the clinic. My responsibilities included- Managed calender, arranged appointments - Confidentiality (maintained confidentiality both inside and outside of the work environment)- Cleaning before opening and closing -Answering.
