Allentown, Pennsylvania Area

Resource and workload planning for Air Products’ Air Separation Unit (ASU) cryogenic design projects. The Cold Box Design team includes over 40 designers and engineers in Allentown, PA and Shanghai, China. Cryogenic design projects vary in size from small single cold-boxes to large, multi-train ASUs requiring over 20,000 manhours of design work. Continuing to manage 6000-8000 man hours of design work each month over 8-12 projects worldwide.

Project Manager supporting the execution of the Gulf Coast Connection Project (GCCP), a 184 mile 18” hydrogen pipeline across Texas and Louisiana connecting 22 hydrogen plants. The GCCP was a $350MM+ project with a duration of over 36 months.

Managed the execution of the Cedar Bayou pipeline replacement project, a 67.5 mile 14” pipeline replacing a 60+ year old 8” hydrogen pipeline. Executed project to within 2% of $60MM+ budget despite construction during period of rapidly escalating right-of-way costs, multiple routing and permitting issues, and through impacts of Hurricanes Gustav and Ike.

Completed three rotations of Air Products’ CDP Program to gain experience in multiple roles and technologies within the company, and to broaden experience with project management and execution.
