I am a double degree Master student from KIT and KAIST who specializes in Robotics and Mechatronics. During my Master Thesis I developed a hyper-redundant manipulator hybrid based on springs and rolling-joints to facilitate passage to lower-pole kidney stones during flexible ureteroscopy (fURS). This project was conducted in cooperation with ROEN Surgical, KAIST. In my Bachelor Thesis I simulated the urine plasma filtration process in the rat kidney to analyze the shear stress forces. This was a cooperation between the Medical University of Heidelberg and the KIT. I have published my results on that in the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology (JASN).
