We focused on Information Management, Data Management, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Reporting and Eco-systems enablement. As Director of Data & Information Management and Chief Data Officer (CDO) I was leading 100+ great co-workers and worked in close cooperation with the Folksam-group Executive Management Team and their organisations. I reported directly to the CIO and was part of the IT Management Team.

I was recruited as a a senior advisor in IT strategy in a governmental committee with the purpose of establishing the Swedish Gender Equality Agency (Jämställdhetsmyndigheten). The committee was established in January 2017, run for 1 year, and the new agency was operational 1st January 2018 as the first government agency in Sweden with a fully cloud based IT-infrastructure.

Working as the Deputy Director in Vattenfall IT within Business Specific Applications we had the mission to provide “carefree IT”. We excelled in those solutions that the market cannot conceive, create, or maintain and thus relieves the business of this concern creating competitive advantages for the Vattenfall group. As Deputy Director I was also responsible for all IT service deliveries towards the Vattenfall Business Region Nordic.I was also responsible for the IT deliveries towards all business units managing our Production and Distribution of Electricity, Heat and Gas in Vattenfall. More than 150 people in Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands were working in the department that managed a large number of solutions - for example Operations Solutions, Maintenance Solutions, Technical Reporting, Metering Solutions and Work Order Management Systems.During this time I also led initiatives to enhance the leadership culture in Vattenfall IT, implement LEAN and also implement both agile development methodologies (Kanban & Scrum) as well as agile management processes.

The IT Supply Unit for Distribution & Sales was responsible for Applications Management and Development services for applications supporting the Nordic processes for sales, distribution and customer service. The 130+ employee department had staff in Sweden, Germany, Netherlands and Poland and managed a large number of solutions, for example Business Intelligence, Call Centre Solutions, Metering Solutions and Work Order Management Systems. One of the biggest solutions was mySAP Utilities (SAP IS-U, CRM & BW).

Travellink was the largest online travel agency in the Nordics serving both private and business customers and had an annual sales of approximately 250 million Euros 2010. As CIO, I prioritized all IT development and operation in Travellink and coordinated with the business objectives. I was part of the company’s Management Team and reported to the CEO.

My role included delivery accountability for all IT to Coop Stores and Business Support (Communications, Marketing, Business Development and HR). I was also responsible for all Nordic Web Channels and reported to the CIO.

During this period I build my experience in sales, training, implementation etc. In 2001 I was project manager for the build and launch of the first online store ever by H&M. The project occupied 25 people and consisted of business developers, designers and system developers.
