In 2018, I took a calculated leap of faith to co-found Greenpack, with a purpose beyond profit—establishing a greener, circular economy by reducing single-use plastics in food packaging. The venture couldn’t have started on a stronger note, as the Managing Director of Saarthak Vanijya immediately resonated with our vision and decided to invest in the project, thereby becoming not just a financial backer but a mentor and guardian angel for Greenpack.Starting with our flagship factory in Varanasi, we introduced cutting-edge technology to manufacture paper cup fans and paper cup Bottom Reels. The Varanasi facility is the bedrock of our operations, boasting the largest production capacity among all our factories.Realizing the market potential and understanding the geographical advantages, I expanded operations to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in 2021. This plant specializes in LDPE Coated Reels & Sheets, effectively meeting the demand for diverse paper-based food containers, including cups and boxes. It functions at half the capacity of the Varanasi unit but brings in a complementary product portfolio that helps us offer a more rounded solution to our clients.The latest milestone came with the inauguration of our third plant in Kasna, Greater Noida, near New Delhi, in 2023. With a focus on innovation, this factory is engaged in manufacturing a new array of products like Ripple Paper Cups, Double Wall Paper Cups, Paper Bowls, and even Burger Boxes. This plant is a testament to our commitment to innovate and diversify, always staying ahead of market trends and demands.Throughout this journey, I’ve kept my focus on building a strong company culture, one that values relationship-building, ethical business practices, and fostering talent. My philosophy in leadership has always been hands-on, encouraging teams to bring in fresh perspectives, thereby promoting innovation.

Starting my professional journey in 2005 at Saarthak Vanijya (formerly known as Khemka Papers), I was afforded an invaluable platform to cultivate my skills and acumen in the fast-paced world of paper-based business. Over the years, I climbed the corporate ladder to ultimately serve as the Head of Sales & Marketing, a position that was both challenging and rewarding.My time at Saarthak Vanijya was instrumental in shaping my core business values, including relationship-building, ethical conduct, and nurturing talent within teams. My hands-on approach in leading my division enabled me to modernize and optimize sales and marketing strategies, utilizing data-driven insights for more precise decision-making.Key to my growth was seizing every available opportunity and cultivating a mindset of ownership. This proactive approach was foundational in introducing contemporary business practices to the organization. It laid the groundwork for my later success in co-founding Greenpack, particularly by fostering my expertise in channel distribution, sales planning, and key account management.My experience at Saarthak Vanijya equipped me with the fundamental tools and frameworks to make informed, ethical, and strategic decisions—a skill set I continue to utilize in steering Greenpack towards its vision of a sustainable future.
