Retail Sales MangerResponsibilities:• dealing with sales, providing a highly personalised approach towards customers;• managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control;• analysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning;• ensuring standards for quality, customer service in high segment are met;• promoting the shop locally by liaising with local newspapers and the community in general;• organising special promotions, displays and events;• maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitoring what local competitors are doing;• meeting suppliers to select and assemble a new collection of products;• maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products;• attending trade fairs, in the Netherlands and abroad, to select and assemble a new collection of products.
