Technical Instructional Design LeadThe technical instructional design lead is a professional who works with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create technical training courses and support the development of associated lab environments. This individual will also play key role in the technical enablement of the internal Sitecore education community and eventually will become a well-known enabler in the Sitecore community at large.Key responsibilities- Collaborates with and coaches subject matter experts to determine course objectives, outlines, and appropriate assessments.- Provides technical thought leadership in the development of learning paths for technical roles.- Designs and develops courseware.- Manages the course development lifecycle at the project level.- Designs and develops learning experiences that align with role based learning paths.- Demonstrates continuous commitment to learning more about Sitecore’s products.- Strives to learn as much about our learners and our learners’ needs as possible.- Provides technical enablement to the internal Sitecore training community.Required Experience:- Bachelor’s degree minimum, preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline- 2+ years developing in a .NET environment with C# and ASP.Net- Strong technical writing ability- Experience delivering technical training, in either a formal or informal environment- Knowledge of MVC and web forms frameworks- 3+ years of experience implementing content management systems- Experience managing a course development project end-to-end- Experience working with databases and data modeling- Basic network administration knowledge- Ability to identify architecturally significant requirementsPreferred Experience:- 2+ years of CMS experience/experience with Sitecore- Knowledge of elearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia- Some formal instructional design training

Key Responsibilities and DeliverablesConsulting and Training delivery:- Advise customers & partners on how to best use Sitecore products- Deliver Sitecore training with focus on our technical courses, SXSD, Commerce- Work with the team to deliver technical workshops like SXA, Administrator etc.- Work with Sitecore implementation teams on best practices of the platform including architecture, deployments and overall development strategies
