Throughout my time studying engineering, I have learned that there will be a lot of hardships. Whether it be with concepts unfamiliar to you or with a program you've used countless times, how you deal with these hardships defines the type of engineer you will be. I've learned that it is impossible to run away from problems as it will just create more down the line. Dealing with hardships has become rewarding rather than annoying to me as the sense of accomplishment you feel after finally figuring out your problem is like no other.I am currently a mechanical engineer at Robert Derector Associates where I work with others to complete commercial construction projects. My job is to design HVAC systems for these projects. Throughout my time at school and in the field, I have gained skills in AutoCAD and REVIT in a 2d and 3d space. From my schooling, I have gained knowledge in 3D modeling using PTC CREO.I am looking for a job where I can expand my knowledge of the industry as well as challenge myself to become the best engineer I can possibly be.
