Databases, since Spring 2020:- This is a course about databases for the Master in Data Science, in which the main topics reviewed are: relational databases, how they can be used from Python code, and then how they can be used in Machine Learning models. Redesign and Optimization of Health Systems Processes, since Fall 2021:- This course covers different topics related to health processes. In particular what I teach is how technologies are related to the world of health, both at the software and hardware level.Data Visualization Workshop, since Spring 2017:- This course is mainly applied, where it is shown how to construct visualization having in mind the story that is wanted to count. The tools used are mainly D3.js, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI.Introduction to Big Data,since Fall 2016 until Fall 2020:- In this course we teach to justify the use of Big Data technologies through the Lambda Architecture. In addition, students are taught how to design and implement a Big Data solution.Data Warehousing, since Fall 2015:- In this course we show how you can solve problems in the decision making of a business situation using a Data Warehouse or a Data Mart. For this, we teach star modeling, ETL and generation of indicator views.

I was in charge of the Opinion Zoom Project at the Web Intelligence Centre in the University of Chile. The main aim of the project was to analyse opinions on social networks in Chile.

I built a web crawler in order to build a database for the DOCODE Project. This software can detect if a student copies a paragraph without quoting the original author.
