CurrentPerform preliminary background research for potential product ideas, including initial patent search and competitive matrix, legal requirements and regulations, and potential product formulation. Develop documentation for new products, including product technical files outlining product concept, product requirements and regulations, product formulation and manufacturing procedures, quality control testing procedures, and safety data sheets. Familiarity with FDA 510(k) clearance, performing necessary research and experiments required for clearance of medical devices.Knowledgeable in sterilization chemical indicators (steam, dry heat, ethylene oxide, vaporized hydrogen peroxide gas plasma, steam-formaldehyde), cleaning validation and verification, familiar with the concept of thermal and ultraviolet disinfection. Familiar with ink chemistry concepts, including formation of water-based and VOC-based formulations, polymers, printing technology, mixing engineering.
