I work with start-ups, small companies, emerging growth businesses, mid-market companies, Fortune 500 companies and global enterprises. My work covers information technology, chemicals, life science, electronics, and mechanical. I work with clients for the full life cycle of technologies, including development, protection, licensing, and transfer. I prosecute trademark and copyright applications, but I do not prepare or file patent applications. I work in related areas such as privacy, security, ecommerce and online agreements, and outsourcing. I arbitrate technology, intellectual property and business disputes.I volunteer with non-profits and charities. I also write and speak on technology and the law to business groups, schools, and at continuing legal education seminars. I used to update a four-volume legal treatise on computer software.
