    As program leader for the multimillion-dollar Gosford and Wyong Hospital redevelopment, I am responsible for shaping the strategic development and execution of change programs to ensure that optimum quality standards and the future needs of CCLHD are met. Directing project and district change teams of up 200 stakeholders, I drive the implementation of the organisation’s Clinical Services Plan, while focusing an 1800-room facility design to elevate both patient experience and patient outcomes. • Co-authored business cases to justify significant redevelopment investment, thinking outside of the box to maximise ROI and ensure public accountability; • Delivered a transparent governance structure fully compliance with planning processes to manage risk, in addition to project reporting and communication tools to monitor progress against defined KPIs;• Successfully engaged medical staff in the planning and decision making process of redevelopments by establishing a Medical Reference Group, securing buy-in to change and generating quality outcomes;• Developed a decant plan to facilitate the relocation of health services impacting over 400 staff across the District, delivering the transition with minimal disruption and fully sustained service delivery;

    Having successfully prepared the organisation for a major accreditation audit as Acting Quality Manager, I was appointed Manager Clinical Governance in 2011 with a mandate of leading the development, implementation and evaluation of change strategies aimed at realising service quality and patient experience improvements. Established as an SME and advisory to the Executive team, I recruited and led a team of 8 reports to support the operational delivery of strategic change objectives, in addition to building leadership capacity for clinical risk management through the delivery of mentoring and education programs across CCLHD.* Successfully transformed safety and compliance to receive an ‘outstanding’ level (EA) award in 8 areas in 2010 and 11 EA ratings in 2012, commended for commitment to continuous quality improvement;* Developed a reliable health institution by improving risk awareness and reporting, establishing a culture committed to reducing incidents with tangible results reflecting improved patient safety;* Established the Clinical Incident Review Committee tasked to assess individual incidents in collaboration, supporting the identification of clinical risks and district wide awareness with cases presented to CIRC.

    Initially appointed Project Manager for Clinical Services Redesign, I was asked to step into the role of Acting Manager Clinical Redesign before fully transitioning to the role in July 2009. Responsible for lifting patient experience and outcomes, I combined Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to plan and execute a number of change programs. Providing leadership to project teams, I managed a portfolio of up to 20 projects at any one time, ensuring patient care strategies were fully aligned with NSW Health and Area Health Service priorities. Highlights during this period include:• Successfully delivered a portfolio of patient-journey focused projects to ensure the provision of safe and high quality services, achieving strong outcomes to receive continuous high levels of funding;• Managed the Gosford Emergency Patient Flow project to map processes and input a nationally mandated fast track model, realising significant improvements in patient wait and stay times;• Led the provision and assessment of student presentations as Lecturer and Student Coach at the NSW Health, Healthcare for Redesign School.
