A general strategy consultancy focused on business services and technology clients. Helped two technology companies raise capital and a third to sell itself; helped several technology start-ups plan and execute new market strategies and in between times, spent four years transforming the market performance of SMART interactive whiteboards, TurningPoint and.

My partner and I originally consulted for Steljes from 2003 to 2004 and then joined the management team as interims (until 2007). Highlights include executing the SMART plan we had created and seeing market share rise nearly 40%; helping Turning Technologies grow from 0% to 19% share in 3 years and helping Steljes change into a very different type of.

I supported the start-up of Iris, was a founding investor and non-exec director.

Led the B2B side of the business, focused on developing marketing programmes in complex sectors such as for the UK Government (Self Assessment, New Deal), Commercial insurance (SunAlliance, RSA, St Paul) and Technology (TD Waterhouse). Geronimo quickly grew to a £2.5m turnover business but my interest in strategy consulting grew to the point where I sold.

Accounts included the AA, Allied Breweries, Kodak, The Home Office, RSPB and SunAlliance.

Sport Aid '88 helped raise millions for African relief by organising a simultaneous global event in over 180 countries. Worked originally in the Press Office and then set up and ran the Promotions department. Highlights included placing the largest banner in the world on Battersea Power station, launching a Codemasters game and promoting the Status Quo.
