Responsible for utility-scale solar project development in the United States from origination through financing, construction, and ownership. Developed over 1,000 MW of utility-scale solar projects now in operation throughout the U.S.Developed a business model for electric vehicle grid integration employing load management, charging optimization software, stationary energy storage, and on-site solar generation. Integrated charging infrastructure, and energy management solutions to light- and heavy-duty EV fleets.

Responsible for all First Solar project development and module/systems sales in North and South America, the company’s largest region, totaling over 3,000 MW, including Agua Caliente, Topaz, Desert Sunlight, Silver State, Stateline, and AV Solar Ranch 1 solar projects. Upon joining First Solar on the merging of NextLight Renewable Power, consolidated the company’s utility-scale development, operation and project pipeline. In addition to No. America, led early stage project and business development in Chile and other Latin American countries, and provided project development and utility system support to the Middle East, India, and Asia.Achieved numerous industry “firsts” including: first large-scale solar plants in operation; first large privately financed solar plant; first large solar plant on federal BLM land; largest solar plants in the world; numerous “Solar Plant of the Year” Awards.

Rapidly assembled a highly-skilled development team to capture the first mover opportunity for the growing renewable energy market. Formulated the business strategy of an independent, technology-neutral, utility-scale solar development company.
