Responsible for technical leadership as well as participating in business decisions and direction of the company.Managed the small team of three developers, establishing development, source control management, testing and build processes and best practices while guiding the other less experienced developers through direct instruction and code reviews.Contributed in a developer role creating rich user experience web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and JQueryUI, as well as RESTful JSON/XML/HTML web services on a Ruby on Rails/MySQL backend. Developed primarily with Vim in a Linux environment. Utilized an agile BDD/TDD methodology using Cucumber and RSpec.Developed a number of Android applications including a multi-threaded real-time game entitled Gem Breakers and a corresponding free ad-sponsored version Gem Breakers Lite that have over 30,000 downloads with an average rating always greater than 4 out of 5 and a collection of likewise well-rated quote applications. Developed using the Android SDK/Java/SQLite in Eclipse on both Windows and Linux.

Performed in the role of Delivery Manager for a development team of over 30 members, driving successful delivery of ACA.NET 7, a framework for enterprise solutions on the .NET platform. Responsibilities included resource management, work plan scheduling, running triage and status meetings, coordinating development efforts, and hiring interviews, as well as designing and prototyping features in C#, transferring knowledge to development teams and and performing code reviews. Worked closely with clients, balancing their needs with technical requirements and limitations.Performed in the role of Lead Developer for ACA.NET 6.0 and 6.1. Responsible for technical design of all new features relating to SOA code generation in a graphical VSIP extension for VS.NET using the DSL Toolkit. Developed some of the features directly and managed the development of the rest within the development team. Developed with C#/.NET.

Responsible for design and development of multiple features within several assets utilizing myriad technologies including C#, WinForms, ASP.NET and SQL to provide framework extensions to .NET, SQL Notification Services, and SharePoint to improve ramp-up time, efficiency, and capability of field consultants.Performed in a Developer role for ACA.NET 5.0. Responsible for design and development of various features relating to SOA code generation in a graphical VSIP extension for VS.NET using the DSL Toolkit. Developed with C#/.NET.

Responsible for managing and maintaining the build as well as setup packaging development for numerous assets, often concurrently. Awarded the Delivery Excellence Award in 2005 for an instrumental role in enabling timely completion and delivery of the 4.0 release of the Engineering team’s premier asset, ACA.NET.Greatly improved the stability, reusability, and efficiency of the build process and setup packaging used by the Engineering team by researching, championing, and implementing new setup packaging technology and tooling (WiX). Provided training for coworkers in the new technology. Became the subject matter expert for setup development in the Engineering team. Provided support both within the team and company-wide in setup development and project-specific setup issues at customer sites.Became a Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD.NET)

Developed an engine extension with corresponding GUI in C# using Microsoft Windows Update Services (now called Windows Server Update Services) for Avanade’s VPN Quarantine solution which was presented at Microsoft’s TechEd 2004 Conference. Leveraged various features of the .NET framework around Remoting, Windows Services, and ASMX web services.Architected and designed a tool for centrally managing and storing passwords for multiple systems. Developed a library of core functionality using C#/.NET. Created a proof-of-concept WinForms GUI using this library to demonstrate the tool’s capabilities.Became a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
