My research efforts now focus on efficient numerical methods for multiscale and control problems with applications.

I worked together with the HiPerSC group ( High Performance Scientific Computing group: http://hipersc.blogs.upv.es/ ) in order to develop a new Matlab routine for the computation of the matrix exponential endowed with a Krylov subspace projection of the backward error estimate.

I worked with the developers team of the software FreeFem++ on the implementation of exponential integrators techniques for the solution of partial differential equations under the coordination of prof. Frédéric Hecht.

Under the coordination of prof. Nicholas J. Higham I developed high performance computing algorithms for approximating the action of the exponential propagation operator on a vector. In particular I focused on spectral methods such as Krylov subspaces.
