A Community Manager acts as a bridge between the company and the public, with responsibility for facilitating two-way communications, representing the brand in close collaboration with marketing management, and fostering community engagement across various channels. CM brings expertise in communications, PR, social media, events, and content creation to cultivate relationships, drive community growth, boost business opportunities, enhance employer branding, and contribute to talent acquisition within the community. Kubernetes Community Days (KCDs) are global, community-organized events that gather adopters and technologists from open source and cloud native communities, supported by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).This is our first edition in Porto (and Portugal), and we’re excited to bring the community together. We want to provide a platform for professionals and experts from all levels and backgrounds to learn, network, and share their knowledge on all things cloud native.

The URBiNAT project will investigate, develop, and implement what it calls "Healthy Corridors," supported by a catalog of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) that universities, public institutions, laboratories, and companies have been developing in recent years. This catalog includes environmentally impactful technological solutions, innovative methodologies for democratic participation and inclusion, and economic alternatives through social and solidarity economy solutions. The "Healthy Corridors" will be built through participatory processes in the cities of Porto (Portugal), Nantes (France), and Sofia (Bulgaria), and later replicated in the cities of Brussels (Belgium), Siena (Italy), Høje-Taastrup (Copenhagen, Denmark), and Nova Gorica (Slovenia), in partnership with local municipalities and universities. The Consortium, led by CES, includes a total of 28 international partners.Activities undertaken as Research Manager:Administrative and financial monitoring, including the preparation of preliminary and final reports for the European Commission (Narrative, Financial, and Periodic Reports);Consortium management (28 Partners);Monitoring and planning the execution of activities and meeting deadlines (e.g., organizing scientific events, project meetings, partner contacts, submission of deliverables; supporting fieldwork planning, among others);Maintenance of the project's web portal and overall communication strategy in coordination with the responsible partner of WP6 - ITEMS;Evaluation and management of project implementation risks;Monitoring cross-cutting and strategic scientific discussions and content of the project (ethical issues and GDPR);Liaison between the team, CES services, and the funding entity at all stages of the project.

The Atlantic Social Lab aims to create an Atlantic Social Innovation Ecosystem that will enable the application of formulas and solutions to promote social innovation in the public sector, businesses, and NGOs through transnational cooperation. The project will promote integrated strategies and social innovation plans to address the new challenges and opportunities of society within the scope of cooperation space.Activities carried out as a researcher at CES:Preparation and implementation of fieldwork within the project, including conducting study visits to social innovation organizations and subsequently drafting scientific reports on the visit;Analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and preparation of databases (SPSS and Excel), information processing, interview processing (Maxqda/N-vivo), and production of corresponding scientific results and outputs corresponding to the analysis and processing of information;Support to the Responsible Researcher (RR) in general project management tasks, including administrative tasks;Support in organizing project events;Participation in team meetings and seminars (CES Representative in international coordination and partnership meetings);Collection and analysis of macro-level data;Editing and reviewing scientific reports;Writing scientific reports within the project scope;Production of scientific outputs (scientific articles and communications at conferences, colloquia, and seminars).
