Roles and Responsibilities Database Administration for Development, QA, and Production servers with MS SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012,2014, and 2016 on Windows 2003/2008/2012/2016 Server. Installations, configuration, and security settings for SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012, and 2014 stand-alone servers. Upgrading/Migrating the databases to SQL Server 2005 to 2008/2008 R2/2012/2014/2016 and current release levels Upgrading/Migration of SSIS packages, SSAS cubes, and SSRS Reports from SQL Server 2005 to 2008 R2/2012/2014 and current release levels Configure and maintain SQL Server HA solutions that include clustering, availability groups, Log shipping, mirroring, and Replication. Oracle schema design, database backups/ restore, data import/export, performance, and tuning. Responsible for Planning and implementing database Backups and Restore Performing daily maintenance tasks for critical databases. Responsible for planning and organizing database, Database creation, manage users, password security, privileges & roles, performance tuning, restoration, user creation, a script running, patch installation, etc. MySQL administration and database development. Creating and Maintaining scheduled jobs and implementing maintenance plans to automation for other tasks. Monitoring the SQL server performance (CPU utilization, Response time, Disk space, Status of failed Jobs) through Third Party Tools.
