I recently graduated in the BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering course at Edinburgh Napier University, reaching Second Class Honours 1st Division (2:1) classification and gaining 80% grade on Honours Project, which involved creating mechanical, electronic and software design of a 3-Axis Camera Dolly for a Stop-Motion device.I have over 3 years of experience as a Production Engineer at Stoane Lighting (SL), where I currently work on a part-time basis. During my time at SL, I have gained a wide range of skills in design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA), machining, electrical wiring safety, electronic soldering and process optimisation. Furthermore, at SL I act as 'in house' photographer and videographer, creating content used on the company's website and marketing materials. In addition to working at SL, in May 2022 I took a leading role at Edinburgh Napier University for a project to develop a medical device in association with Green Cross Medico. My role has involved consulting the GCM to create the specifications and requirements of the product, and creating a number of possible designs that would match those criteria. The winning design was then modelled by myself to a high degree of precision in Autodesk Fusion 360. I also procured the parts and fabricated a prototype using CNC manual machining, and additive manufacturing methods. In March 2021, after completing my HND in E&E Engineering, Edinburgh College distinguished me the "Chair's Award For Academic Excellence in Engineering."I am also a student member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
Listed skills include Performance Measurement, Public Speaking, Stock Management, Soldering, and 24 others.
