In an age of black-box machine learning, Pavlov gives you the opportunity to see trends for yourself.

Mastercam software, SolidWorks Fluid Flow Simulation, part design, Haas CNC machining, and an understanding of plasma-inducing lasers.CSU's Engineering Research Center for Extreme Ultraviolet Science and Technology (euverc.colostate.edu) is interested in making extreme ultraviolet radiation (EUV) more available to labs around the world. EUV is scientifically useful for many things, including controlling chemical reactions with greater fidelity. The problem is that it is expensive to produce hardware that can generate EUV. Right now, researchers at CSU's EUV ERC are working to develop relativity low-cost lasers that can achieve widespread distribution of EUV. These lasers get very hot and require specialized cooling systems. I spent my summer at the CSU Foothills campus helping to design and produce parts for these cooling systems.

SCT provided me with the opportunity to get hands-on with paperboard machinery, to troubleshoot problems in real-time, and to build relationships with a variety of people.At Southern Champion, we fold paperboard food containers that are distributed across the nation. Next time you eat fries at Dairy Queen, get a cake from Baskin-Robbins, eat a hot dog at a gas station, or get a burger at a ball game, look at the bottom of the tray, and you just might see SCT. UCA and the Undergraduate Creative Research Endeavor office at UTC gave me the opportunity to participate in design work. Given structural part constraints for marine environment, I designed a complete convention approach for the Big Area Additive Manufacturing platform.
