Duties as Service Technician. making up Tubular size from 2.3/8 - 36 inch to the required Torque & Running in hole, preparing and checking equipment before job, stabbing tubular, working with the handling tools, spiders, FM's, Jam, Cam equipment etc. Taking job orders from crew supervisor .doing the job on time & safe manner.

Duties as Asst Driller.•To assist the Driller at all times on Rig floor with all operations,•To assist the Driller at all times on Rig floor to maintain a smooth operations.•Direct the drilling crew to carry out derrick inspections and Dropped Object Checks thoroughly and timely, the results documented and anomalies reported and rectified.•Direct the drilling crew to carry out their duties & maintain all equipment's•Brief & guide the drilling crew to carry out their duties in a safe manner at all times.• Complete Daily Drilling Reports.• Check instructions, programmes and calculations supplied by Operator.• Maintain an accurate pipe tally.• Maintain an accurate and complete record of all equipment which enters the well.• Monitor the well at all times and record volumes when tripping.• Must be familiar with space-out and shut-in procedure.• Solely responsible for shutting the well in when circumstances dictate.• Responsible for ensuring good housekeeping on the drill floor at all times.

•Working on derricks Pooh drill pipes Rih drill pipes, secure its foundation and connection to the other pipes.• Helping & guiding the Roughnecks on Rig Floor. •Operate and maintain drilling rig diesel motors, transmissions, Mud pumps and drilling mud systems, and mix mud chemicals,and additives •Read gauges to monitor pressure, density, rate and concentration and adjust pumping procedure as required.•Calculate the dense and volumes of oil and mud•Recording mud density and volumes.•Supervise, Roustabout& laborers

As Roustabout Duties•cleaning, scraping and painting the deck, equipment and work areas•offloading supplies from boats and moving them to storage areas•Working with cranes to move equipment at work site•helping mechanic to repair equipment•mixing the 'drilling mud' for drilling.As Roughneck DutiesRoughneck is a promotion from roustabout. As a roughneck, operation such as:•Connecting & disconnecting of drill pipes & drill collars•adding fresh lengths of drill pipe as the drill moves deeper into formation•inserting and extracting the whole drill•cleaning, maintaining and repairing the drilling equipment•using lifting gear, ropes and winches.
