Instructor on the King Air B200, occupying an executive position on 45(R) Squadron which delivers all initial multi-engine pilot training across UK Defence.

Operational test pilot, testing systems on P-3C and P-8A (737NG derivative) and ensuring tactical doctrine fully exploited new capabilities in harmony with campaign plans. One of the select initial cadre of P-8A pilots, and the first non-US citizen to fly the platform.Managed a program delivering objective assessments of air anti-submarine warfare platforms and systems. Led a team of 8 civilian analysts geographically spread across the USA.Completed a civilian 737NG type rating in Oct 2011 with Higher Power Aviation, Dallas, Texas

Undertook conversion training on the P-3C. Qualified to fly AIP, update II, update III and BMUP variants.

Served on 120 Sqn as a co-pilot, first pilot, crew captain, air-to-air refueling pilot and flying instructor (FI)/Line Training Captain. Tour culminated in appointment to Squadron Training Pilot, where I had oversight of all Squadron pilot training in the air, ground and synthetic environments. During a 7-year tenure at RAF Kinloss I participated in maritime exercises around the World and multiple detachments to the Middle East in support of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
