Recruited to help organise, maintain and develop kitchen themes along with adding value and insight into the operational management of their expanding business.This was always a temporary position as I had a contract to begin work with KPMG on their graduate scheme commencing October 2015

The 'Singl-end' was a project that had/has always been stop start. It was intended to be part of 'The butterfly and the pig' family and it now is.Within its first attempt a combination of resources and timing failed the business, even though a 10/10 review by one of Scotland's most revered food critics gave the business a great start! Unfortunately, the demands of a new business and lack of resources soon took its toll.I am glad to say that it has recently re-opened and has again scored… Show more The 'Singl-end' was a project that had/has always been stop start. Unfortunately, the demands of a new business and lack of resources soon took its toll.I am glad to say that it has recently re-opened and has again scored highly with the same critic. With an adapted business strategy namely the operating hours and a greater focus on recruitment of higher skilled individuals, I am glad to say the business is doing well. It has been an honour to be involved in both opportunities at this premises as it is a truly fantastic example of industrial Glasgow within a residential setting!It was a fantastic learning curve and an opportunity to explore my passion for food and business ideas. Recruited internally to manage and develop the communication between the office based ideals and the farm management systems deployed upon each of the four farms that were under my control.This entailed management of the core members of staff upon each site along with the management and development of relationships with contractors and government agencies.

The butterfly and the pig was always different and still is.
