My passion for aviation is based on the fact that it brings people together. Air travelling enables the exchange of ideas which inspires and leads to innovation. I'm exited that I can contribute to safe and affordable air transportation by using my mathematical and engineering talents. ORTEC supports aviation companies with both tailor-made software and consulting services. We're specialised in optimising operational processes as well as strengthening commercial activities. For example in the area of workforce planning, revenue management, and network optimization.

Working for Shell Projects and Technologies on the Capital Cost Estimating Tool project (CCET). CCET enables Shell to quickly generate accurate cost estimates for new projects. For Shell this is an essential step in selecting the most profitable projects. Being a team member of the CCET modelling team I convert the engineering logic into models that generated quantities and costs.

As the final part of my MSc Aerospace Engineering at the TU Delft I performed my thesis research at the National Aerospace Laboratory NLR. For the department of Air Traffic Management and Airports I worked on the Endless Runway concept. It is an unconventional airport concept part of a European research call for radial new concepts for air transport. As a final result I quantified whether the Endless Runway can be used to increase the airport capacity and therefore match the forecast grow in demand for air travel.
