✔️ Flight department leader with extensive international operating experience ✔️ Curates processes and procedures that improve organizational culture, safety, and efficiency ✔️ Technical and regulatory knowledge that enhance pilot training and line operating initiatives✔️ Aviation instructor skilled in organizing and facilitating large scale training events ✔️ Effective communicator and team builder with success building long term rapport with colleaguesRyan’s 20+ year career in aviation spans instructional, charter, and corporate flight operations. After serving as a flight instructor, he became a captain for AirNet Systems operating a Beechcraft Baron as single pilot. In between flights, he assisted ground crews in sorting cargo which enhanced efficiency and productivity during the aircraft loading process. Later, Ryan joined Epps Aviation where he operated multiple complex, turbine aircraft as pilot in command. Ryan’s work ethic and breadth of technical knowledge did not go unnoticed. Shortly after joining the team, he was selected to lead ground indoctrination training for new hire and recurrent pilots. Additionally, he conducted King Air familiarization flights with new hire first officers. In 2007, Ryan took advantage of the opportunity to join the Silverton Bank as a captain and assistant chief pilot. In this role, he demonstrated a passion for cultural development through the promotion of communication between workgroups. Some of his accomplishments include leading initiatives to overcome deficiencies in flight trip sheets and aircraft maintenance discrepancy reporting, each of which required extensive collaboration with colleagues from different departments. Today, Ryan uses each of these experiences in his role as a contract captain flying domestic and international flights on the Citation X, Falcon 2000, and Honda Jet aircraft. His wealth of operating experience, time as an instructor, and success as a flight department leader make him a valuable asset in each organization. Recently, Ryan completed his Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) Certification through the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and looks forward to applying his acquired knowledge and skills in the workplace.Outside of the cockpit, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, practicing Spanish, scuba diving, and playing golf.
