Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communication, future purveyor of environmentally friendly foods. The renowned College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences at California Polytechnic State University harmonized my agribusiness passion. Agriculture will always be an essential industry, so I decided to enter an industry to impact sustainable food production directly. Agriculture is the backbone of society, and we need to modify our practices to maintain a growing global population.Throughout my education at Cal Poly, I have learned how to assess soil horizons and environments to ensure optimal plant growth. I discovered the importance of speech delivery to present complex information meaningfully and clearly. The unrestricted boundaries at Cal Poly, through their Learn By Doing motto, have allowed me to work with professionals and peers at the top of the California industry, learning about modern solutions to decade-old problems. Looking forward, I am moving to Boston, MA, and am hoping to revolutionize urban agriculture to preserve life on our planet by feeding people fresh food.
