Fostering relationships between students and administration in the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering. As part of the Community Relations Committee, I help handle all non-professional events that involve the student population in means to help the students connect.

In this position, I help with the everyday management and function of the Academic Success Center on Purdue University's campus. The role relies heavily on customer service skills to promote holistic academic growth within students across campus. As a Student Office Ambassador (SOA) I welcome guests to the center, facilitate an accountability group, and work alongside professional staff on office projects.

I am aiding a team of DuPont project managers and KBR contractors on the Poromerics Revitalization Program! This is all in support of the improvement of the Semiconductor technology and products created on site. While I am here for the summer, I will also get to work on a few structural maintenance projects happening around the Newark site, and lead an improvement project in efforts to earn my Lean Six Sigma yellow belt.

This position was to care for children ages 2-14 throughout the work week. I was able to work alongside many other counselors, learning communication and collaboration skills. Being a full-time employee taught me how to manage day to day tasks, as well as my money, while contributing to an organized, safe, and fun environment.

This position was in place to watch over children ages 0-12 while their parents/guardians were in other parts of the recreational center. This was an entirely independent position, which taught me to be aware of my surroundings and learn when to ask for help.

Worked alongside leadership to encourage cultural identity and education amongst young African Americans. I was also in charge of organizing the chapter’s annual fundraiser in 2022 and raised over $3,000.
