I designed a self-serve tool so Microsoft sourcing managers could edit categories of parts used in hardware products. I interacted with customers to identify their pain points, designed wireframes and wrote documentation to explain the proposed feature, and collaborated with the engineering team to build and deploy the feature.

I worked on SendKit, an API that is used by Google applications to manage sharing content. I designed a new 'smart sharing' third-party component for SendKit Android, that reorganized third-party apps in the sharing menu based off of custom usage statistics for each user. The feature should be integrated into Google News for Android by the end of the year!

I Improved CDPush, an internal service that pushes and manages data in Google data centers for millions of running programs. I designed and implemented a command-line system system to let users examine detailed events, so that engineers can have an easier time diagnosing problems. I also created cleanup system to scan SQL databases to remove old data.

I assisted Barbara Ericson with her research by creating practice tests for the AP Computer Science exam for her online textbook, Java Review for the AP CS A exam. I also worked as an instructor at two computer science camps, introducing underrepresented minority students to computer science.
