In my initial training year, I completed a school centred initial teacher training programme with TeachFirst alongside a PGDE qualification accredited by UCL. During this time I taught a range of subjects across the curriculum in both KS1 and KS2. I went on to mentor trainee and unqualified teachers and supported them to gain QTS along side leading parent workshops and interventions to raise attainment amongst lower attaining pupils.

Working as a locum dental nurse at various dental practices whilst at university. My job roles included: -Assisting dentists with all procedures including dental implants and restorative dental work
-Preparing and sterilizing surgery and equipment -Welcoming patients into the surgery and putting them at ease - Reception work (phone calls, payments, booking appointments & stock control)

During my initial training year, I completed a Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing at K College, accredited by City and Guilds. Key roles included:- Assisting dentist with all procedures including dental implants and restorative dental work
- Preparing and sterilizing surgery and equipment - Welcoming patients into the surgery and putting them at ease - Reception work (phone calls, payments, booking appointments & stock control)- Working instinctively with good initiative- Working alongside different dentists, listening and following orders promptly - Working well under pressure, remaining calm and professional at all times - Excellent understanding of information and confidentiality- Experience in cross infection control to implant surgery standard- Prepping both patient and surgery for complex treatments, such as dental implants and restorative procedures
