I am a Senior at Santa Clara University, starting to look for roles in the field of psychology and education. As a psychology and child studies major, I am concerned with how educational institutions inform the growth and development of children. Consequently, my studies have focused on the social construction of childhood as well as how schools function as a way to produce and reproduce hegemonic social values. I aim to use what I have learned to provide a more inclusive and socially cognizant environment for young students.
