Patch is a peer-to-peer fashion marketplace for AI-assisted thrifting. (IG: @projectpatch.ph)Patch started as a hackathon project for ASEAN-China-India Youth Summit Leadership last September 2023. Since then we have undergone multiple pivots and have been/are being incubated by UNDP Youth Social Innovation Lab (2023), Arete Sandbox (2024), Ateneo Blue Nest (2024), and HEC Montreal's Social Business Creation Programme (2024). At present, we have pitched for the Hult Prize Boston Summit last June 2024, and is invited to upcoming the Social Business Creation SDG Fair in Montreal, Canada this September 2024. We recently completed our ideation stage last May 2024, and is in the process of raising our pre-seed funding. We're currently in our development stage and will be piloting later this year, stay tuned!

Kaya Founders is a venture capital firm investing in the next generation of tech-enabled companies in Southeast Asia. Here, I worked as a Business Operations Intern under one of the companies in Kaya Founder's portfolio, Invesko. Invesko Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based financial technology company that connects users to third-party securities brokerage services and other financial services and products. I supported its launch in the Philippines market through working on due diligence and regulatory compliance for its US securities licensing and assisting with investor relations i.e. IR reporting, KPI monitoring, etc.

As Editor-in-Chief for A.Y. 2023-2024, I led ASBR's recent revival and pivot through assembling the editorial board, managing campus-wide recruitment and implementing general strategies for establishment, continuity and growth. I currently function as consultant to this year's editorial board in support of its continued growth and success.

As a strategy intern under the last-mile division of Shopee Xpress' Business Intelligence unit, I regularly travelled between Metro Manila fulfillment centers in task of troubleshooting observed gaps on-ground and aiding the technological adoption of SPX's Smart Sorting roll-out in the National Capital Region of the Philippines. To this end, I also worked on improving misrouting validation methods through the creation of scalable semi-automated systems and processes.

Our team ranked first of the three chosen startups who participated in the ACILYS Startathon Grand Finals in Singapore. Our startup idea specifically focused on building a gamified digital intervention to incentivize proximate fashion swapping via mobile phones, thus addressing the poor adoption of circular fashion practices in the Philippines. Meanwhile in Singapore, I worked alongside other prospective founders of different nationalities in ideating a tech-enabled solution that is commercially viable and scalable across the Southeast Asia region. My team during the Singapore rounds, and I specifically worked on "plan.it" — an AI-enabled "green travel" mobile app that automated travel booking and planning with affordability and low carbon emissions in mind.

Under the Young Innovators Leadership Program (YILP), a 10-month internship program to equip interns with the knowledge and skills to setup and lead an innovation-based startup enterprise, I was provided practical and academic training as to IP processes and law, and was tasked to work in teams towards creating and commercializing innovation-based startups. I was able to work in support two teams, each with its own product and/or service, whilst working on my own product exploration with a technical partner specializing in chemical engineering.
