Installation and service of fire alarms, security systems, access control and cctv.

Own shrink and safety results for assigned area(s) and support the Loss Prevention five plays strategies.  Manage the training, detection, investigation and successful resolution of all internal high dollar and sensitive investigations within assigned store. Conduct assessments of Loss Prevention and operational performance that impacts shortage control. Knowledgeable in the areas of safety, food safety (Kmart), OSHA and environmental programs, and ensure implementation and compliance in assigned store. Review safety and food safety inspections (Kmart) on a regular basis. Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of results and assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise the Loss Prevention Associates and Leads within assigned store. Administer all training in the detection and detention of shoplifters. Ensure accurate and timely report writing, record keeping and retention of evidence by conducting periodic reviews. Ensure the proper operation and repairs of alarm, EAS and CCTV equipment. Educate and motivate store associates to achieve shrink, workers compensation and general liability goals. Work as a liaison between the store and the criminal justice community. Demonstrate courageous leadership by identifying and communicating potential ethical or safety issues that must be addressed at a higher level. Manage and develop reports on all critical incidents in assigned area of responsibility. Provide immediate follow-up on required inventories and audits in order to control costs and shrinkage. Travels within district assisting the district manager with compliance audits and investigations.

New construction and remodel of residential structures. Framing, carpentry, electrical and roofing of building structures. Provide bid for labor and materials. Research material cost, purchase materials for building project.

In home lighting consultations, product specification, building product quotes and lighting layouts for spec plans as well as remodel applications. Walk customer through entire project from concept to completion. Program lighting and home automation controls. (HAI, UPB, On-Q AND LUTRON). Knowledge of multiple manufacturer products and overall product knowledge. Generate multiple reports for accounting and sales analysis, as well as detailed customer activity reports. In store sales, answering phones and taking phone, internet, and Fax orders. Purchasing of product for residential and commercial customers. Build displays, set up and operate home show booth. Build lighting fixtures for display. Troubleshoot and repair of customer lighting products. Training of new staff on Keystrokes (POS program) and Shipping/ Receiving.

Operations Specialists function as plotters, radio-telephone and Command and Control sound-powered telephone talkers and maintain Combat Information Center (CIC) displays of strategic and tactical information. OSs operate surveillance and altitude radars' Identification Friend or Foe (IFF), and associated equipment. They serve as air traffic controllers for helicopters and fixed-wing supersonic jet aircraft.OS's serve as watch supervisors and section leaders, and they interpret and evaluate presentations and tactical situations and make recommendations to supervisors during watch conditions. They apply a thorough knowledge of doctrine and procedures applicable to CIC operations contained in U.S. Navy instructions and Allied or U.S. Navy publications and procedures necessary for radar navigation contained in Naval Oceanographic Office publications.Operations Specialists provide to the command technical information and assistance related to Anti-Surface Warfare, Anti-Air Warfare, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Amphibious Warfare, Mine Warfare, Naval Gunfire Support, and search and rescue operations, and other matters pertaining to the Operations Specialist's area.Upon completion of the required rating courses, OSs will be able to plot a ship's position, heading, and speed. They operate common marine electronic navigation instruments including radar systems, and provide target plotting data to the combat information center based on information received from target tracking devices.
