Driven by a passion for education and a commitment to well-being, I lead with purpose and dedication to ensure that all individuals have the resources and support they need to succeed.In my role as the chief Student Affairs Officer, I provide strategic leadership and visionary guidance, along with comprehensive administrative oversight for a diverse array of programs designed to empower, advise, and advocate for both students and staff. I am dedicated to fostering a culture of collaboration and support, ensuring that our staff members have the tools and resources necessary to excel in their roles and contribute meaningfully to our community.Through both formal and informal interventions, I champion initiatives that address the social determinants of health, promote academic success, and cultivate a culture of diversity, inclusion, and equity across our campus. I believe that the success of our students is deeply intertwined with the well-being of our staff, and I actively work to create an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.I oversee a robust portfolio that encompasses critical areas such as retention strategies, academic advising, TRiO programs, diversity and inclusion initiatives, disability services, student involvement opportunities, student conduct policies, residence life programs, mental health and wellness services, and new student orientation. By leveraging my expertise in these domains, my team and I are committed to creating a holistic and enriching experience that supports the personal, academic, and professional growth of every individual, while also advocating for the needs and development of our dedicated staff.
