While based at CNN Los Angeles, I was assigned to cover the Iraq War on a regular, rotating basis from the beginning of the war to the summer of 2007. My roll was primarily as an embedded photojournalist/producer covering US military combat operations in the field, but I also worked as an editor/producer and live-shot coordinator in the Baghdad Bureau.
