Since July 2021, I have been managing an intricate infrastructure comprising 30 Windows 10 Desktops, 265 Chromebooks, 145 Laptops, 4 Windows 2019 Servers, 9 Promethean ACTIVpanel Smartboard TVs, and 7 Smartboards, a FortiGate Firewall a mix of 10 Cisco and Aruba network switches, and two Internet Filters.In my capacity as the senior administrator, I provide Network Administration, ensure seamless coordination of technology software and hardware, and maintain our cyber security framework. I also manage the Google Workspace for Education, responsible for over 460 user accounts.I have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Google Apps, and the Windows 2012/2019 Server environment. As part of my role, I also lead instructional design and continuous technology education for all staff, students and teachers.Moreover, I coordinate with multiple vendors, fostering partnerships that enhance our technological capabilities and meet the evolving needs of our teachers, students, and staff. Apart from these responsibilities, and along with our Business Teacher, I help contribute as a consultant to maintain the school website, helping to guide the students in this endeavor.For the past two years I have also served as the Elementary Technology teacher for Pre-K through 6th grade.While I've highlighted my current position, it's important to note that I've been in the IT industry for over 20 years. My experience ranges from owning a computer repair business to serving as the Director of IT for Mailbox IT Stores of America in the early 2000s. These experiences have provided me with a well-rounded and comprehensive understanding of the field.
